In December 2005, a highlight in the world of wellbeing in South Tyrol opened its gates in Merano.The thermal baths of Merano are a special place for regaining energy, for reinvigorating or simply for relaxing all your senses.

The highly innovative and artistically designed building offers you the following:

> 7,650 m² of thermal landscape
> 25 pools
> 8 saunas und steam baths
> a modern and well-equipped fitness centre
> an innovative Spa & Vital Centre
> a cosy bistro
> part of the park is accessible only to visitors of the thermal baths

The water containing radon and is applied in various therapies. The water streatms are especially calming for the mucous membrane, liberating for the respiratory tract and beneficial for the healing process of lung and bronchial infections.

Saltwater with sulphur has just been discovered. It contains many precious substances and its 33° Celsius are especially enjoyable in winter.

Undoubtedly you will also find a place to relax in the 50,000 m² area of the park.

By the way: Centuries ago Rainer Maria Rilke, Franz Kafka, the empress Sissi and her entourage used to visit the thermal baths of Merano.

> Opening hours: 9 am to 10 pm, bathing ends at 9.40 p.m
> Spa & Vital: 9 am to 7 pm, booling on advance requested
> Kids’ area: Mondays to Saturdays from 9 am to 12 and 3 pm to 6.30 pm
> Thermal cures from Mondays to Fridays from 9 to 12 and 5 to 6 pm, Saturdays from 9 am to 12
